Gravel

$649.00
We think by now, most of you get what Straggler is. It’s a madly versatile bike that can be used for most types of riding and riding surfaces. Better still is that you now have the option of 650b wheel size. 650b wheels were popular for a long time many years ago on ‘Constructeur’ style bicycles and we all know how real stuff was back in the day…650b wheels strike a nice balance between the benefits of both 26” and 700c sizes. The smaller wheel allows smaller riders to fit well on smaller frames, produces a stronger wheel, makes fitting big-ass tires easier and are more agile than their larger counterparts. Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing. Straggler 650b has braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere. It’s a day tripper and a weekender. It’s a ‘rough road’ road bike. It’s a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It’s a utilitarian townie. It’s a light-duty touring bike. It’s an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. We think that’s pretty neat.
$649.00
So what is this Straggler anyway? The easy answer is to say that we added disc brakes to a Cross-Check and this is close to accurate. People have asked us to make a disc version of our highly versatile Cross-Check for a long time now and almost everything about the two are very similar. Straggler is slightly different, though. The most obvious difference of course is that the Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. There is no such thing as one bike that can do it all, but the Cross-Check comes mighty close. It's a cyclocross bike by design, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it has only one purpose. This jack-of-all-trades will do just as well getting you across the country as it does getting you across town. At home on the road, on trails, and on gravel, the Cross-Check'll fit pretty big tires, or smaller ones if you like. It can be built as a geared bike, a singlespeed, or a fixed-gear. The Cross-Check’s frame is engineered to supply a comfortable but lively ride. The tubing is CroMoly steel, high quality, custom-drawn, and built to our specifications. It's designed to work with components of popular sizes, meaning you can find both new and old parts to hang on this frame. It will accommodate a wide range of crank types and chainring sizes. It's got accommodations for racks and fenders (front and rear) and, because of its ample tire clearance, you can outfit it to suit where and how you will use it. There's a reason the Cross-Check has remained popular after all these years. The frame is comfy, tough as nails, and super versatile. Surly continues to hear from people for whom the Cross-Check has long been their go-to bike simply because it performs so astonishingly well on any surface.

Steel Commuter and Gravel Bike Preamble is a hard-boiled steel commuter built for comfort, durability, and buffoonery on pavement and gravel. Nothing More is Needed. Nothing Less Will Do. The challenge was thus: Build a serious steel bike and give it only the attributes that matter most. Make it quick and comfortable on pavement, as well as confident and compliant on degraded surfaces. What the Enginerds put forth is Preamble, a pavement and gravel utility worker that proves you don't need to cut corners or clip coupons to make a more affordable steel bike. You just need to keep it simple. Preamble can run racks and fenders and carry a couple water bottles. Surly was raised on stealing basic cable, after all. Smooth and efficient on asphalt, Preamble's double-butted main triangle provides a resplendent ride feel and withstands abuse from life's inevitable potholes. Possibly the most iconic frame associated with Ritchey, the Swiss Cross draws its name from early factory rider, cyclocross and mountain bike legend Thomas Frischknecht. The first iteration of the Swiss Cross in 1994 was a no-holds-barred race machine designed for one thing: ripping through dirt like no other. Captained to numerous victories under Frischi, the Swiss Cross went on to become one of the most revered frames of the Ritchey offering – proving itself a winning combination of Tom’s framebuilding mastery and Frischi’s dominance in racing. As a true ‘cross ripper or a fast gravel racer, the Swiss Cross remains lightweight and compliant, and offers the winning combination of confident responsiveness and razor-sharp handling. Its race-ready geometry will ignite the competitive spirit, while clearance for 40mm tires will appeal to those who’s pursuits reach beyond the course tape. The Swiss Cross is painstakingly TIG-welded with proprietary triple-butted Ritchey Logic steel tubing that now sports an updated one-piece truss design for flat mount brakes - providing as much stiffness and strength of previous mounts while reducing chainstay weight significantly. Whether it's ticking off the grueling miles of a gravel race or leading the charge on bell lap, the new Swiss Cross is more than capable of tackling it all. Go fast. Get dirty.

The Pivot LES Fat is the world’s most versatile big-tire machine. It's compatible with almost every wheel size available, from 26-inch to 27.5-inch Fat to 29er. The perfect wheel and tire combination? That’s always open to debate. But one thing is beyond dispute: No matter which wheel size you choose, your bike should handle great. Pivot's proprietary Swinger II dropout system guarantees that’s always the case, no matter which wheel and tire combination you use. The ingenious dropouts maintain ideal geometry via an indexed adjustment arc designed into the dropouts—the bigger the wheel and the more clearance you choose, the lower the bottom bracket. The LES Fat full carbon frame features a svelte top tube and seatstay shaping for comfort on long rides and epic adventures. The full carbon frame features leading-edge materials and Pivot's proprietary hollow-core, internal-molding process. This coveted technology enables Pivot to create an ultra-lightweight frame featuring the largest downtube in the category and a 132mm Press Fit BB for best-in-class power transfer. Additional frame details include the Cable Port System for clean and easy cable routing, three water bottle mounts, and a narrow Q-Factor for better pedaling ergonomics. The LES Fat frameset includes a Pivot-designed carbon, rigid fork that easily accommodates any wheel size with clearance to spare. This full carbon fork features 150mm dropout spacing—the same spacing as fat bike suspension forks, so you can use the same wheels with rigid and suspension forks. Looking for a bike that's ready for anything? The LES Fat is a four-season hardtail that can take you from singletrack to snow to sand with no compromises.

It’s inspired by a place where history runs deep. North of Boston, in the county now known as Essex, Chebacco Parish was one of the earliest European settlements in the mid-1600s. Today, centuries-old roads, paths and trails make it a perfect place for adventurous rides—if you have the right bike. Meet the Chebacco LE. It’s named after our local stomping grounds, but it’s at home wherever roads can get rough and rides turn into adventures. Gravel grinding, cyclocross racing, tackling a commute in the urban jungle. Now, for the first time, you can do all those things on one bike that delivers remarkable versatility plus the signature Parlee ride quality. Rather than follow the traditional blueprint for a cyclocross bike, we set out to create a premium ride experience with nearly unlimited capabilities. With disc brakes, wide tire clearance (up to 40mm) and hidden fender mounts front and rear, this 100 percent carbon fiber frame that lets you expand your riding possibilities—while giving up nothing in terms of lightweight performance and ride quality. The Chebacco LE shares the same DNA as Parlee road bikes such as the Z series and Altum models. The frame is handcrafted from the same carbon fiber materials, but with purpose-built geometry and design features including wider chainstays and seatstays. The bottom bracket is a bit lower than traditional Euro’ style cyclocross bikes, and the head tube angle a bit slacker. This gives the Chebacco LE a smooth, stable ride at speed, especially when you’re pounding through gravel, dirt or variable road surfaces. The Chebacco LE’s rear brake hose is routed through the downtube and chainstay, allowing the rear disc brake caliper to be mounted inside the triangle. The rear dropouts are modular, compatible with either thru-axle or QR, and the frame also includes integrated fender mounts for a sleek setup in wet weather conditions. You don’t need three different bikes for cyclocross racing, gravel grinding and winter road riding. You just need one Parlee.

Big adventures require a bike that can rise to the occasion. Arctodus is named after Arctodus simus, an Ice Age behemoth that was the largest bear to ever walk the Earth. Like its namesake, Arctodus the bike is versatile, strong, and ready to explore. It has adjustable geometry, a durable steel frame, a massive front triangle for a frame bag, lots of cargo mounts, and can clear the biggest fat bike tires on the market. Arctodus is ready for afternoon exploration, polar expeditions, and everything in between. THE BIGGEST TIRE CLEARANCE Arctodus was built around a 26" x 4.8" tire for optimal handling and control on loose trails. It can fit the biggest fat bike tires in the world. The biggest fat tire on the market is 26" x 5.05" and Arctodus eats them like a snack with room to spare. Same as 27.5" x 4.5", which is the biggest 27.5" tire available. Arctodus is the only bike to clear tires this big with a 12-speed drivetrain without chain interference. When a bike is created for big rides with fresh snow, it needs to fit tires that were designed for the same reason. This is a bike that prays for snow and cuts its own trail. ONE BIKE, THREE WHEELBASE LENGTHS A key feature in all Otso bikes is adjustable geometry and the ability to adapt the bike for the ride ahead. The patented Tuning Chip rear dropout system can change wheelbase length by up to 20mm, raise or lower the bottom bracket height by up to 4mm, and change the head tube angle by +/- 0.5º. Use the rear position when the trails are loose and you need as much control as you can get. Use the front position when the snow is firm and the trails let you take turns with a little speed. No matter the conditions, Arctodus has an answer. DESIGNED FOR EXPLORING There's no need to wait for the trail groomer. Arctodus was made for foot trails, forest paths, and snow-covered frozen lakes. The bombproof steel frame can withstand the demands of an expedition. A large front triangle can fit a healthy full frame bag. The carbon fork has mounts on either side for cargo. A rear frame can be attached via mounts on the seat stays and Tuning Chip hardware. Even the geometry is catered for exploration, with extra trail for optimal flotation and bottom bracket height that will ride above deeper snow. Whether you're exploring local trails or a national forest, you can trust Arctodus to keep you riding. NARROW Q FACTOR Arctodus has a 100mm bottom bracket. This is 30-40mm narrower than other fat bikes that have the same tire clearance. Ride with massive tires without compromising handling. SUSPENSION CORRECT All Otso frames feature suspension-corrected geometry. Arctodus is compatible with suspension forks that have up to 120mm of travel. A few options are available on the Custom Bike Builder. STABILITY & FLOATATION Arctodus geometry was designed for optimal riding on fresh trails. The 68º head tube angle paired with massive tires gives Arctodus more trail than other fat bikes. Even the BB height was selected for clearance in deep snow. DROPPER COMPATIBLE Snowy trails are good with dropper posts, too. A port near the bottom bracket fits a cable and housing for a cable-actuated dropper post.

The progressive geometry, generous tire clearance, cargo and rack mounts, and smooth steel frame allow the Warakin to adapt to many types of riding. This bike has been a favorite here at Otso HQ where a 20-mile ride could include 10 miles of pavement, eight miles of gravel, and two miles of flowy singletrack for good measure. ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY The Tuning Chip rear dropout system allows the rider to lengthen or shorten the wheelbase by up to 20mm, raise or lower the bottom bracket by 4mm, and change the head tube angle by +/- 0.5º. For chunky gravel on remote roads, the longer wheelbase of the rear Tuning Chip position is set for stability and comfort. For a quick spin around town or the CX course, the front position makes for snappy handling and agile control. A middle position is also available, which covers the best of both worlds. TIRE CLEARANCE If a bike is meant to ride any road in any condition, it needs to fit tires and wheels that will get the rider to and from their destination while handling every bump along the way. The Warakin will fit 700c x 50mm tires for minimum maintenance roads, just as easily as 650b x 50mm for forest trails, 700c x 35mm for your next gravel ride, or anything in between.
