Comments:
I am happy with my Vis 180 from Light and Motion. I use it during daylight rides, and night rides. It is the brightest tail light that I have seen. I ride with the confidence that anyone who has their eyes on the road will see me a long way off. This light has 4 modes. Mode 1- Brightest pulsing Red w/Amber flashers on each side of the unit. Mode 2- Dimmer setting (like mode 1) Mode 3- Steady Red w/Amber flashers on each side. Mode 4-Flashing Ambers only. (I have used this setting with my black bike on the bike rack at night.)This is the way to go for safety, and visibility.SEE and BE SEEN. Easy to mount, and remove. I am going to order an extra mount for my 2nd bike. The clicks in securely. Not being visible on the road can lead to a world of hurt, or worse.

Comments:
This is the best rear light I've ever used. It feels very solid and puts out plenty of light. The little orange side lights make the light visible from the sides. It mounts in seconds and is easy to remove. Highly recommend!

Do not buy this product. Safety equipment like this is only worth a premium if it is 100% reliable. I have had my viz180 for 6 weeks. Recharged it at work today and now it won't switch on. Am 10 miles from home in the middle of winter with no rear light on my bike. Rather buy 2 cheaper lights from Cateye.
