Along with the new 25mm rim width, it features the same higher spoke count that's continually made the Ardennes CL the wheel of choice for both stallions and cyclocross racers alike. The CL Plus forgoes the scandium alloy rim of its SL and FR siblings in favor of an aluminum rim. This one-piece, full-carbon rim will change the way you ride. Big Deal utilizes a ribbed, single-wall design to maximize stiffness and minimize rotational weight…all on a tubeless-ready platform. Compared to most aluminum fat bike wheel/tire combinations in the market today, you can expect to lose 1.5 to 2 pounds… per wheel. Note that the Big Deal is drilled symmetrically ONLY and cannot accommodate offset frames. Big Deal utilizes Inflatobam, HED's patented tubeless technology for installing big tires.
