Details
For enduro domination, throw a leg over BMC’s Trailfox 03 and hold on tight. The stiff, hydroformed aluminum frame is light and efficient. The front end charges through the roughest chunder with a 160mm-travel Pike. A Cane Creek DB Air Inline is paired with BMC’s APS suspension for an efficient, active 150mm-travel ride. 29-inch DT Swiss/SRAM wheels hold their speed and roll through rock gardens with monster-truck ease. SRAM’s X1 1x11 gearing and shifters keep shifting smooth and simple, while the SLX brakes give you the confidence to tackle that tricky descent. BMC rounds out the 03 with a dropper post, short stem, wide bars, and a comfortable Fizik saddle.
BMC's Advanced Pivot System (APS) balances the applied forces of shock absorption and pedaling efficiency to maintain chain tension and rear wheel traction. BMC connected two laterally stiff triangles with a pair of links and an ideally located virtual pivot point (instant balance center noted in graphic). The result is outstanding traction, power transfer, and a ride ready for everything from XC to enduro.
